My name is Mr. Olufade. But people call me Mr. O. I started Mr. O's Red Olive Oil & Sauce because I wanted to change the eating habit of our people in Africa and contribute anything I can to encourage healthy eating and reduce deforestation in Africa. Half of the world's population, mainly in Africa and Asia, depends on palm oil for their diet because of its flavor and color. I remember palm oil being part of our daily diet, growing up in Africa.
Despite palm oil's high content of vitamin E, vitamin K, and monosaturated fats, its saturated fat content might pose some risks to cardiovascular function. Additionally, palm oil production has led to deforestation, which has severely impacted the environment. Deforestation has been linked to climate change, and this is a contributing factor to global warming.
Since many Africans and Asians rely on palm oil as a dietary ingredient, I came up with Mr. O's Red Olive Oil & Sauce as an alternative substitute, with similar color but added health benefits and less to no impact on the climate through deforestation. Mr. O's Red Olive Oil & Sauce is organic olive oil and organic vegetable based. According to research, olive oil is better than palm oil because of the amount of unsaturated fatty acids it contains. Olive oil is a better source of vitamin E than other types of vegetable oil like canola oil.
Apart from the health-related benefit derived from the olive oil, Mr. O's Red Olive Oil & Sauce is unique in the sense of its color. It is Red! I hope that the red tone would provide a brilliant and vivid appearance from using palm oil in various food around the world.
Mr. O's Red Olive & Sauce is a good source of vitamin A, with rich and balanced flavor, perfect for dipping, salad dressing, sautéing, marinating, and healthy addition to cooking (steamed vegetables, baked potatoes, and soups).
