INSTEAD OF FRIED RICE, TRY MAKING YOUR AFRICAN JOLLOF RICE WITH MR. O'S SAUCE!

Updated: Dec 24, 2024

Fried rice is popular in the United States and many parts of the world. But do you know that Africans also have their fried rice? We call it Jollof Rice. Jollof Rice is unique to West Africa, and almost every family and ethnic group has its unique and special way of making it. Although I will recommend, you use MR. O'S SAUCE for making your Jollof Rice; you can also use any good African (West African) red sauce to make your Jollof Rice. So many recipes are online. It took me less than 30 minutes to prepare my Jollof Rice with MR. O'S SAUCE. Try preparing it for someone special (especially your family). They will love you for it! Recipe: · Two – three cups of Parboiled or Uncle Ben's Rice · One Jar of MR. O'S SAUCE (16 oz) · Add Other Seasonings (optional) · Sweet Cherry Tomatoes (optional) Instruction on How to Prepare African Jollof Rice: 1. Boil three - four cups of water. 2. After the water begins to boil, wash your rice. 3. Add your rice to the boiling water and cook for about five-ten minutes until the water turns starchy (starch is the excess carbs you want to get rid of). Note that you don't want the rice to be overcooked. 4. Rinse your rice with cool water until the water is clear. 5. Add enough water to the top of the rice. 6. Sprinkle some salt (remember, you only need about 24 milligrams of salt a day) 7. Boil your rice until the water is dry. 8. Add MR. O'S SAUCE and fry and mix the mixture on low to medium heat to your desired texture (I like frying mine until most of the moisture is gone). 9. Add sweet cherry tomatoes (it is optional, and the number of tomatoes is also optional). Healthy Eating and Healthy with MR. O'S SAUCE & OIL! AYO OLA NI O! ( Wishing joy and wealth in Yoruba). MR. O'S SAUCE & OIL is the healthy way to eat!
